PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThere is nothing more fun than promoting the town where you live–particularly when it is Frederick, MD. Over the years, The Washington Post Magazine has produced special advertising sections focusing on different aspects of downtown Frederick. I’ve been engaged a half a dozen times to write the editorial with content ranging from the city’s history to the holiday season, antiquing, shopping, gallery walk and more. Exposure to Washington, DC area readership contributed to it becoming an important regional destination, with more than 1.5 million people visiting downtown Frederick each year.
