PROJECT DESCRIPTIONEmmitsburg is a charming small town located between Gettysburg, PA and Frederick, MD–two major visitor destinations that attract several million people each year. Emmitsburg is a visitor destination in its own right. Home to the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the National Firefighters Academy, and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, it is a mecca for firefighters, those of Catholic faith, as well as outdoor enthusiasts.
Wanting to attract some of the many nearby visitors, the Town of Emmitsburg decided to initiate a marketing campaign that would package these and other attractions. We were pleased to assist with the development of a website that incorporated video and a brochure that included a self-guided walking tour of historic sites interpreted with wayside exhibits. These two marketing tools help to position the town as a visitor destination and will serve as the foundation for additional future marketing efforts. |
