PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In 2013, I suggested the idea of doing a history column to the editors of Frederick Magazine. It would be a short Q&A that would feature an interview with an authority of some aspect of local history, or a Frederick County resident who had actually experienced history in the making. The result was “Talking History,” which quickly became a monthly column that has allowed me to meet and interview a wide cross section of Frederick County residents. The two-page spread immediately engages the reader because of the wonderful portraiture work by Turner Photography.
